Winners of the ContestThe results of the contest of the works of students, candidates for a master’s degree, post-graduate students “Providing Assistance to Refugees and Solving Their Problems: the International Reality and Belarusian Perspective”, which was held in September—November 2015 by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and International Non-governmental Association for Scientific Research, Information and Educational Programmes “Evolutio”, have been summed up. This year  47 works of students, master students and post-graduate students from 16 universities of the Republic of Belarus took part in the Contest.

Students, candidates for a master’s degree and post-graduates of Belarusian universities, involved in researches in the specified areas were invited to participate in the Contest.

Having studied the works, the Commission has taken the following decision:

To announce the following participants the winners with providing them a reward in an amount of 1 000 000 (one million) Belarusian rubles and memorable diplomas:

Ksenia Dzhiganskaya, student of the Faculty of Psychology of Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank, work “Phenomenology of Experience and Successful Adaptation of Forced Migrants from the Soth-East of Ukraine in Belarus”;
Konstantin Nashchinets, master student of the Faculty of International Relations of the Belarusian State University, work "Analysis of Mechanisms of Refugee Successful Integration in the Society”;
Antonina Morozova, student of the Faculty of International Relations of the Belarusian State University, work “Refugee Problem in the European Union: Is There Any Solution?”.

To announce the following participants the winners with providing them a reward in an amount of 750 000 (seven hundred fifty thousand) Belarusian rubles and memorable diplomas:

Liubou Zubarevich, student of the Faculty of Management of the Academy of Public Administration under the Aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus, work “Psychological and Social Conditions for Admittance and Accommodation of Refugees in the Republic of Belarus”;
Elena Kudryavets, student of the Faculty of International Relations of the Belarusian State University, work “The Principle of International Solidarity within the Context of Refugee Rights Protection”;
Olga Khlyavich, master student of the Faculty of International Relations of the Belarusian State University, work “Problem of Syrian Refugees on the Turkish Territory as a Consequence of Civil War in Syria”.

To announce the following participants the winners with providing them a reward in an amount of 500 000 (five hundred thousand) Belarusian rubles and memorable diplomas:

Marharyta Kovalchiuk, student of the Faculty of Corrections of the Academy of the Interior Ministry of the Republic of Belarus, work “Asylum and Refugees: International Legal Regualtion on the Regional Level”;
• Anna Kostryakova, student of the Faculty of Law of Grodno State University named after Yanka Kupala, work “Migration Crisis of the Old World and Ways to Solve It”
Artyom Nikiforov, student of the Faculty of Economy of Gomel State University named after F. Skorina, work "Social and Cultural Adaptation of Refugees in European Countries”.

The Awarding ceremony took place on December 24, 2015 at the Faculty of International Relations of the Belarusian State University.
